I have a little issue with scammers. Mostly that they are scammers and thus in my view damn oxygen thieves. There is a particular scammer that is also going to be served soon, but that’s another story. This story however will be placed here both for your amusement and to warn potential customers of these scam artists.

Now I am not sure, but I think Americans out there reading this would agree that Gregg here exemplifies all the worst traits of American stereotypes. I post the link only as I have no way to verify the image is legit, however, from what little googling of Gregg and his shady business practices I had done many moons ago, I do think the picture is legit as the woman in it is I think “Janet” which is rumoured to be his wife.
So (assuming this is Gregg) and you wondered what a scamming, lying turd-man looked like, you now can see it. Which reminds me of the other post I wrote a while back on The Coming of Honesty.
UPDATE 3: Another innocent victim got scammed of $1250 by Gregg the turd-master. She wrote a long comment and you can read about it there. I suggest anyone interested links to this post to make Geeks on Steroids searches bring this up as one of the top posts so as to prevent others from being defrauded.
UPTADE 4: Gregg has removed his picture from the Link and has joined the comments area, conveniently ignoring the lady that was ripped off of $1,250 and then “gloating” at the fact that VOX, where this blog was originally hosted has gone belly up, so he thought this post would die out with VOX. Which shows Gregg is even dumber than we thought readers, because apparently the concept of transferring a whole blog to another platform is beyond him. Way to keep up with the technology Greggy-boy.

Well, I went to see this "show" and oh my fucking God. They had an empty metal frame, a dirty towel on the floor and a piece of blank paper pinned to a wall. This was supposedly art. And the "artist" was then asked to give a brief (but still like 3-4 minutes, so really about 6 hours too long) talk on his "work". I think they realised if they didn't let us go to the free food and drink we would murder the lot of them soon so it lasted only a few interminable minutes. These people are using up valuable oxygen.
I hate that Postmodern art needs an explanation. like the modernists had it all backwards creating 'art for arts sake'. Like there was something wrong with creating visually interesting pieces.

Well…. I have a lot to say… but I don't even know where to start… (sorry if my english is not so good). I personally know Gregg, I live in Colombia (Used to work for that asshole), and I'm a graphic and web designer, and it's very frustrating to find posts like this online because he's ruining our reputation and creating a bad image about the work we do here.
I've been a web designer for about 4 years, and I know i'm good and responsible, never never a scammer. It's hard enough for us to fight with people like you everyday so you can understand it is COLOMBIA not Columbia, that we are not monkeys or indians, that we produce and eat more than bananas and cocaine, and now this… I would really like you to do some research about our country before you say bad things about us, just like you did some research on geek's background.
This guy really is a scammer but what's so funny about this story is that he's not even Colombian, he's a fucking u.s redneck, borne and raised in georgia, who had to come to Colombia hiding form the law. He now has a beautiful wife and house that he "pays" for with the hard work of real Colombian workers, college graduated and great designers and programmers, and like it was not enough nobody wants to work with colombian designers anymore because of him… I feel really angry and sad, but I guess there's nothing I can do, just keep doing a good job and hope someday people like you and him stop destroying what costs us so much to get.

I have also been ripped off but not in the way you have. I live in his area and I know these people. This is how they work:The guy who runs the business is Greg, he built his own reputation with Janeth's name saying that she was a young woman married and running herself a Website Design Company. This is the first lie!! Janeth exists but she doesn't even know how to type a word in English, she is a Colombian woman and she only takes care of the two kids they have.Greg not only rips off his clients, he also rips off his employees, I was one of them, that's why I can tell the story. He hires people promising the best things, saying that Geeks on Steroids is the best Web Design Company in the world, blah blah blah.Bullshit!! What you say is true, he requests 50% in advance to start a project, then he asks his designer ( he only has one normally) to create a mockup and that's what he sends to the client, he doesn't even care for showing an advance on it. I say it because that's how we used to work there. I felt really bad knowing the people that we were creating some work for were being ripped off. I know this is not the only case, there are thousands of people like you guys. He was even banned by paypal, now he receives payments through another person (someone of his family).I worked there for 3 months and they never paid me, they offered me to pay with an outdated computer, that's what they offer to everybody, I didn't accept this. He has ripped off many people here too. Anyway if you want to present stronger evidence then please do so. A comment on the internet is still just a comment. Although I have no doubt that Geeks on Steroids are scammers, it is best to present actual evidence if one wants to prove a point. In their case I think so far the evidence only continues to mount towards them being the big scammers they are.
